About this campaign

Medical Team from Calgary will be traveling to Centro Evanglico de Medicina do Lubango - CEML in Lubango, Angola to do multiple orthopaedic surgeries. We will work with an established medical community and partner with them to provide excellent musculoskeletal care to local patients. Zimmer Biomet making donation of product so raising funds to cover cost of shipping and other supplies by air freight to Lubango, Angola.

World Medical Mission—a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse—places volunteer Evangelical Christian physicians, dentists, and other medical personnel in short-term service at mission hospitals and clinics around the world. The motivation behind all our efforts is Christ’s command to go and “heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you'” (Luke 10:9, NIV). In remote areas around the world, missionary medicine is one of the most effective means of evangelism available. Each year the hospitals we serve are used by God to lead thousands of people to faith in Jesus Christ.
