About this campaign

Dr. Ava Butler is a Canadian family and emergency doctor with a diploma in tropical medicine. She and her family (husband, Jesse, and daughter, Lilah) will be in Addis Ababa in the Spring of 2018 to teach the internal medicine unit to the third year medical students at Myungsung Medical College. She will be supervising daily inpatient rounds, preparing daily teaching rounds and evaluating the students. She is passionate about teaching and looking forward to shaping the foundations of these Ethiopian medical students' knowledge. She is an advocate for marginalized populations, which her students will learn in order to serve the people of rural Ethiopia once they graduate. Thank you for partnering with Dr. Butler and her family as they help to train the next generation of doctors for Ethiopian to be compassionate, competent and Christ-like physicians.
