Christmas in our Canadian society celebrates family, community, and gifts that display our love for one another. What about Christmas in poverty-stricken countries?
In many developing countries, children and people of all ages often don't have the opportunity to experience the blessings that we receive.
In February I want to aid in spreading the love of Jesus to El Salvador through deploying gifts packed in shoeboxes, serving the community, and showing them they are loved by our God.
To us, a shoebox packed with toothpaste and crayons may not mean much. But to a community of people that suffer from poverty that small shoeboxes indicate that there is love for them.
We often spend money on our loved ones during the holidays to show them your care for them. This year I am asking you to help me show individuals that they are seen, they are cared for, and they are loved.
Thank you for your support!
