Again, we're so grateful to friends and family who contribute household recycling and those who go out into their neighbourhoods on recycling days. One recycling partner, when thanking his neighbours, got an unexpected reaction when a neighbour said "I want to match it with a cash donation!" She then went on to ask him to tell her his total each time he drops off recycling for Operation Christmas Child and she will match it. God bless such a generous spirit! And we thank the Lord for recyclers who aren't shy about telling their neighbours that OCC recycling is all about Jesus!

August 23rd Bottle Drive was a warm, sunny day with 16 warmhearted volunteers investing a total of 67 hours to welcome wonderful donors dropping off refundable beverage containers. 92 more children will be able to attend The Greatest Journey because of this investment of time and service. To God be the glory!

Last Bottle Drive for this year has brought us to our goal! Stellar volunteers served with all their hearts on Saturday OCT 4th and we're more than thankful for their joyful efforts. We have raised enough this year to disciple 907 children in The Greatest Journey. But there's still time left on the calendar, so let's see how many more children God is preparing to sponsor in The Greatest Journey classes through recycling that you drop off at various Return-It Depots around town. All praise to HIM!

The Greatest Journey workbook contains 12 lessons, taught by a trained national leader. 46 million children have enrolled since 2009, learning how to follow Jesus and share His Good News with others. Each graduate receives a certificate and New Testament. We praise God for partners like you!
