About this campaign

Dear family and friends,

The whole world is facing challenges because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In places close to our heart, such as Old Town San Remigo, many senior citizens are suffering. Because of the quarantine lock down, seniors are not allowed to leave their homes to help in the farm nor sell produce to earn their normal income. We believe we can help the Philippines in this time by supporting Samaritan's Purse Canada and their efforts to help the needy, like those in Old Town San Remigo. We are hoping that family and friends who are working can donate $50 to $100 each online. All donations are tax deductible through Samaritan's Purse Canada. Thank you from Auntie Luz and family. God Bless you!

I'm thankful be able help the less fortunate senior citizens who were schoolmates that remain close to my heart. My prayer is that they will know that God continues to love them especially during this challenging time.

Food is a basic human right. Prior to COVID related lockdowns many millions around the world were hungry; this pandemic has pushed many more into food insecurity, malnourishment, and despair. This initiative is a great way to help meet not only needs now but also to fend off lack of access to food in the future. I'm happy to contribute toward this effort.
