About this campaign

Volunteering at Kapsowar Mission Hospital - a 130 bed hospital near Eldoret, Kenya that helps underserved communities in the region. Kapsowar is right on the equator but in a mountainous region at an elevation of 7600 ft. We will be living alongside a few other families from North America and local families that work at the hospital.

Lauren will be using her experience as a nurse to help where needed at the hospital and the adjoining nursing school.

Jonny will be helping with expansion project to add an ICU to the hospital.

"We are so excited for what God has in store for us and our three kids through this adventure! We will miss everyone here and would really appreciate your prayers as we navigate and adjust to a new culture, build new friendships and community, and attempt to homeschool the kids!"

World Medical Mission—a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse—places volunteer Evangelical Christian physicians, dentists, and other medical personnel in short-term (self-supporting) service at mission hospitals and clinics around the world.
